Grant Heineman graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA where he studied jazz vocals with David Scott, Aubrey Johnson, and Peter Eldridge, and jazz piano with Kenny Werner and Tim Ray. He double majored in arranging and performance. He’s performed everything from standards to Bach cantatas, pop, and more!

In 2020 he won a Downbeat Award for his vocal arrangement of “I Can’t Help It” by  Stevie Wonder. In 2023, he taught at the Tri-C Jazzfest Academy, led by Dominick Farinacci. He recently released his debut EP “Sloth Running Team” to widespread acclaim.

Grant currently teaches piano with Tamir Hendleman (UCLA). He has a wealth of teaching experience, and he loves communicating vocal and piano techniques and concepts in a simple, understandable way.
